Responsibilities
- Responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, enhancing multicast protocols
- Propose improvements for existing solutions, propose new solutions
- Conduct feasibility analysis for proposed solutions/design
- Work closely with customer to capture requirement and creating the solution
- Estimate the time required for all the phases of software development activities
Required Skills
- 15+ years’ experience in
- Architecting, design and development of networking software
- Deep understanding of L2, L3 network protocols
- Expert in C/C++ coding and a strong systems programming/ low level programming background
- Good understanding TCP/IP, socket programming
- Working experience with multicast and routing protocols (IGMP, ICMP PIM, MLD, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, RSVP etc.)
- Working experience in setting up network infrastructure in broadcast communications
- Experience contributing to all stages of SDLC
- Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills
